Flip and get the detail on why no body wants to have Ivanka Trump products in their stores…
Didn’t he say he wanted to be president to make America great?
How about he does his job and stay in his lane. People just don’t like Trump and now he’s getting a taste of what its like when people don’t want to deal with you. President or not people are speaking out.
On Thursday, Nordstrom said that it would no longer carry Ivanka Trump’s line of clothes and shoes. Nordstrom said the decision not to buy additional products from Ms. Trump were based on performance.
Donald Trump is trying to spin this as an attack on him being president, but you can clearly see that it was a business Decision and nothing more.
“This is less about his family’s business, and an attack on his daughter. He ran for president, he won, he’s leading this country,”
“I think for people to take out their concern for his actions or executive orders on members of his family, he has every right to stand up for his family and applaud their business activities, their success. When it comes to his family, I think he’s been very clear about what they’ve accomplished. And for someone to take out their concern for his policies on a family member of his is just not acceptable, and the president has every right as a father to stand up for them.”
Sean Spicer is the same man who helped Trump try to convince everyone that they had a huge turn out at his Inagural. Yeah, that didn’t happen, but lapdogs do what they’re told. Now sit Sean Spicer, and be a good boy…here’s you dog bone…goodboy.
In a White House press conference Wednesday afternoon, press secretary Sean Spicer defended Trump’s actions by citing his duty as a father to stand up for his offspring.
Off-price retailers like Marshalls and T.J. Maxx have always been a hotspot for the Ivanka Trump label. Now they’ve decided to STOP promoting the Ivanka Trump label. They’re DUMPING ALL Ivanka Trump products from their stores.
Last week, employees working at the TJX Companies, which includes T.J. Maxx and Marshalls, were told to not specifically feature Ivanka Trump products in displays, but rather to mix them into regular racks, and to toss signs for the brand in the garbage, according to a note obtained by the New York Times today.
the Times got a hold of the note that read:
“Effective immediately, please remove all Ivanka Trump merchandise from features and mix into the runs. All Ivanka Trump signs should be discarded.”
Doreen Thompson, TJX spokesperson confirmed to Times that the note did go out internally.
“The communication was intended to instruct stores to mix this line of merchandise into our racks, not to remove it from the sales floor. We offer a rapidly changing selection of merchandise for our customers, and brands are featured based on a number of factors.”
Thompson told Racked:
“We aim to offer a merchandise mix that gives our customers a choice in what they may want to purchase. At this time, we continue to offer this line of merchandise. From time to time, we communicate with our stores about how to handle merchandise.”
There is no confirmation is if TJX Companies would stop carrying Ivanka products all together, her products are basically shelved right now. Nordstrom is currently selling her products, but no new orders from Ivanka Trump have been placed. Ivanka has also lost Neiman Marcus and Belk department stores. They too have pulled Ivanka products from their websites and, in Neiman stores too.
Shoes.com, Gilt, ShopStyle, and jet are just a few more stores that have pulled Ivanka’s line frome their websites and brick and mortar locations.
More and more brands and companies are pulling away from Trump family businesses, on the heels of the #GrabYourWallet boycott that’s been rumbling since October. To learn more about the #GrabYourWallet boycott click here…
