In the digital magazine he talks about his All-AmeriKKKan Badass album.

Here are some highlights from Joey Badass interview with Highsnobiety:

Why did you name your album All-AmeriKKKan Badass?

“It was just so fitting. Me personally, with the first album being B4.Da.$$ and the way I incorporated my name into it, I almost wanted to keep that going. When I landed on the name All-AmeriKKKan Bada$$ it was just so fitting to me with all the music I was already creating before the name came into existence.”

When did that moment happen for you?

“I can’t really remember to be honest. I just knew right away that it was fire. Once I had the name, it was easy for me to shape the music. Before that, I was fighting between two different names for my second album. It was All-AmeriKKKan Bada$$ and another title that I won’t share because I might end up still using it. The concept for that one was more personal shit. Just introspective, what’s going on with me, what’s going on inside of my head. Just my personal life.”
