Kim Kardashian West Renames Shape-wear Line

Kim Kardashian West Renames Shapewear Line

Kardashian West has renamed her shape-wear line after she was forced to change its original name of Kimono.

Earlier this year Kim Kardashian West was critized for her butchering of the Japanese traditional name Kimono for her shapewear line. Well, after a back and forth about cultural appropriation and Kim’s response she has finally come up with a Shapewear Line that is truly more brand worth towards her name. Read on to get more details on Kim Kardashian West Shape-wear Line… is proud to announced that The ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ star new line will now be called SKIMS Solutionwear.

Kim Kardashian West took to social media to share the news with a new photo to brand the shapewear line.

Sharing a picture of the garments, she wrote on her social media:

My fans and followers are a huge inspiration to me – I’m always listening to their feedback and opinions, and am so grateful they shared their ideas for a new brand name. After much thought and consideration, I’m excited to announce the launch of SKIMS Solutionwear™.

She adds that the new line will be available on September 10, 2019.

Kim goes on to say:

I love the idea that the pieces will be the closest thing to someone’s skin, skimming with amazingly soft and supportive fabrics which accentuate the best parts of our bodies. Available in sizes XXS – 5XL, SKIMS Solutionwear™ is for every body. SKIMS.COM.

Back in July, Kim insisted she was “working really hard” to change the labels inside of her Kimono shapewear line as the two million garments, all with the Kimono branding printed on the inside, had to be changed.

The reality star insisted she doesn’t want to be “wasteful” and have new garments made, so is trying options to cover up the old branding.

Kardashian said in a video on her story she revealed:

Because I wanted everything to be really seamless and feel really good, we printed everything inside all of the garments. So now I have to come up with a solution and not be wasteful because we have printed almost two million garments so far with the Kimono name.

I just want you guys to have a little progress report and know that I’m working really hard to figure out how to not be wasteful and change the name at the same time.
