Grown-ish star Yara Shahidi continues being a fashion forward celebrity for all to see. Yara “popped by @buildseriesnyc to say aloha and have a great convo with beauty director Dana L. Oliver 👋🏽” earlier this month.
Yara Shahidi has come a long way from Black-ish. Now that she is the star of her own spin-off series Grown-ish on Freeform, Yara stylish fashion sense continues to dazzle us all. Take a look at what she was spotted in this month…
CelebNFashion247.com loves Yara Shahidi, she is our new Rihanna when it comes to hip and stylish fashions for the college student and young female adult.
Yara Shahidi, celebrated her 18th birthday last week, so belated happy birthday to our fellow Aquarian. The actress, model, and activist recently was accepted into Harvard, but with a hit series, she says that she will not compromise college for Hollywood.
Well here is what Yara Shadhidi had to jokingly say:
“I always say I’m simultaneously four years old and 50 years old existing in the same body. I’m known to be somewhat of a grandmother in terms of how I operate. You won’t catch me at after-parties many times. Nothing good happens after 10:00 P.M.”
Ironically, Shahidi plays a college freshman named Zoey Johnson on Freeform’s Grownish. The spin-off from black-ish creator Kenya Barris. Now that she has been accepted into Harvard, what does this mean for her hit series Grown-ish?
Yara explains to Glamour:
“That conversation’s already been started, even before this announcement. It’s [nonnegotiable]. If I don’t go soon, Kenya Barris will kick me off the show so that I will go! Everyone is as committed to my education as I am.”
We will see, now that Grownish has become a hit. We did hear that Yara is trying to figure out how to do both, or move the show to Boston.
Gorwnish is a great series, we would hate to see it go, but that is up to Shadhidi. She is only 18-years-old. We feel that she should ride the wave with her series and at least let it run 4 more years. She will be 22-years-old, but she can go to Harvard then since she got a referral from Michelle Obama Harvard will hold her a space.
